The municipality extends over fields, forests and alpine pastures to the rocky crags of the Rhätikonwhere the crests (2800m) borders Austria and Switzerland. Tschagguns is widely spread out but the centre offerstwo hotels with indoor swimming pools, sauna, dancing for young and old, bars, the Montafonian room, clean andwell kept restaurants, self service restaurants, Sparshopping complex, Pilgrims church ets. The area thoughvast and spread out, has many walkways and hiking trails passing by shady streams leading to the higher mountain paths into the snow capped regions. Two cable cars lift passengers to 1900 m from where one has a fantastic panoramic view of the imposing alpine range of the Rhätikon. Tschagguns has a modern, open air swimmingpool, tennis courts, minigolf, open air concert, folklore evening and from here it is only 20 minutes' walk tothe holiday resort of Schruns. The ski resort of Golm 1900 m reachedvia funicular railway has two double chair lifts, 3 ski lifts (to 2000 m) sun terraces, mountain restaurants. The ski resort of Grabs has a chair lift, a skilift rising to 1600 m, training fields in the village, wellknown ski school, ski hire, natural toboggan run which is lighted in the evening. Cross country ski run, indoor swimming pool, sauna, cleared walkways and a skating rink.
